Arjun Reddy was a sensational hit at the box office, and the film became a trump card, for everyone in the team, including lead actors Vijay Deverakonda, Shalini Pandey, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and others.
 

During a recent interaction, when Vijay Deverakonda was asked if the sequel to Arjun Reddy will happen, he was apparently quoted as saying, "I think we will have a go at it. Sandeep and I have already discussed ideas about the same before. Maybe, we could carry the story forward, to show how Arjun's life is, at the age of 40. We should explore around that."

His next Telugu film, Taxiwala, is gearing up for its release on May 18, and after that, it will be his Tamil - Telugu bilingual, NOTA, directed by Anand Shankar.
