EXCLUSIVE: “MY NEXT FILM WILL BE ONE OF A KIND..” - YOURS SHAMEFULLY DIRECTOR VIGNESH KARTHICK OPENS UP!

In an exclusive telephonic interview with Behindwoods, Vignesh Karthick opened up about the movie and revealed some exciting information about his upcoming projects.

Speaking about the Aishwarya Rajesh starrer which is touted to be a crime thriller, Vignesh Karthick said “This movie will be one of a kind. Aishwarya is playing a character that she has never done before and has carried it out with perfection. This movie will have a different flavour in it and will definitely excite the audience.”

Vignesh Karthick has directed over four short films during the lockdown. When asked how he planned all this while staying indoors, he said “For the first 10 days, I was very unproductive. I did not work at all. I was sitting around in my house, binge-watching movies and series. Suddenly, a small thought struck my mind and ultimately, that led to Yours Shamefully 2.5 and just like that, we did 3 more films.”

It is to be noted that Vignesh Karthick is not only a one-of-a-kind director, but an amazing actor too. His performance in the short films were highly appreciated by the audience.“I don’t see a career for myself in acting. I like to act, but I love to direct and work behind the camera. I don’t know, maybe a few years down the line, I might act, but I’ll always like to be a director”, signs off Vignesh.

Vignesh is also gearing up to start work on his next feature film with HipHop Tamizha. He is also working on a series of short films, for an OTT platform, along with his Sci-Fi film.
