SHOCKING: POPULAR TAMIL COMEDIAN PASSES AWAY

Veteran Tamil comedian and stage actor, Neelakantan, more fondly known as Neelu, passed away, a few hours ago, this evening. Neelu is also a television serial actor, who has featured in over 7000 stage plays and more than 150 Tamil films.
 

Neelu, who made his Tamil cinema acting debut with Aayiram Poi film in 1969, went on to be a part of films like Avvai Shanmugi, Suryavamsam, Kaathala Kaathala, Dheena, Pammal K Sammandham, Kalyana Samayal Saadham, Trisha Illana Nayanthara, and more.

It is said that Neelu was suffering from a prolonged illness, and he was 82 when he breathed his last.

It is indeed a very big loss to the all the stage play groups and Tamil cinema.
