SUPER ANNOUNCEMENT: THIS VEMAL FILM GETS A SEQUEL!

Actor Vemal, who has been out of action, for quite a while, is said to bounce back strongly with Boopathy Pandian's directorial Mannar Vagera.

The Pasanga actor celebrated his birthday today, along with his other film industry friends. Interestingly, he has also officially announced his next two projects on this special day.
 

He would next be teaming up with director Vasanthamani of Sasikumar starrer 'Vetrivel' fame. After that film, he would collaborate with director Sarkunam for the sequel of the super hit film Kalavaani. Kalavaani was definitely a visiting card for Vemal, Oviya, Soori, Ganja Karuppu, and director Sarkunam, and this sequel might be an interesting film to watch out for.

Apart from Vemal, Soori and Ganja Karuppu have been retained for the second part, as well. Kalavaani was Oviya's first Tamil film, after which she went on to do many interesting projects. We have to wait for an official word from the team to know if Oviya would be part of the sequel too. This film is expected to begin after Sarkunam finishes his project with Madhavan.
