Actor Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in the Thiagarajan Kumararaja-helmed ensemble film Super Deluxe, which also had Samantha, Fahadh Faasil, Mysskin, Ramya Krishnan, Ashwanth Ashokkumar and others playing crucial roles. Upon release, the film garnered unanimous praise from critics and audiences alike.
Super Deluxe is set to have an international premiere at the 23rd Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN), held in South Korea. The film will be screened under the category World Fantastic Blue section, which comprise movies that are more cerebral and emotional in experience. The film was also selected to be screened at the Fantasia Film Fest which will be held in Montreal, Canada.
Super Deluxe deals with the tales of several induviduals who cross paths, thereby unknowingly influencing their lives in unexpected ways. The film had its commercial release on March 29, 2019. The film is produced by Thiagarajan Kumararaja under the banner Tyler Durden and Kinofist in association with Alchemy Vision Workz.
The festival will take place from June 27 to July 7, 2019 in Bucheon city, Korea. Apart from this film, other Indian films such as Andhadhun, Gully Boy, Manikamika will also be screened at the festival.
