Both the films did wonders in the box-office and won millions of hearts. Directed by Atlee, Bigil had featured Nayanthara as the female lead while Jackie Shroff, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Kathir, Indhuja amongst others were seen in prominent roles.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraaj’s second directorial venture, Kaithi also featured Narain and George Maryan amongst others in prominent roles. Produced by S.R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures, Sam CS has composed the music for the film.
The film is based on the struggles faced by a life imprisonment prisoner (Karthi) who is called as Dilli in the film to see his daughter after 10 long years. Will he finally meet her or not unfolds the remaining story!
