FROM ILAYATHALAPATHY TO THALAPATHY: SPECIAL DAY FOR THALAPATHIANS!

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Kaithi fame, the film features an ensemble cast which includes Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah, VJ Ramya amongst others in prominent roles.

Exactly 27 years back on this very same day on December 4th, actor Vijay had stepped into Kollywood with his debut film, Naalaiya Theerpu which was directed by his father  S. A. Chandrasekhar and produced and written by his mother, Shoba Chandrasekhar. Since then it was no looking back for the actor and he had given several hits and went on to act in 64 films. the fans have taken to their social media and stormed the internet celebrating this milestone with several hashtags.

It is the actor’s sheer hard work and determination that had catapulted him to the height that he is in today. He has created a new niche for himself and redefined the word ‘Mass’ with his charisma, charm, dance and brilliant acting skills.
