Actor Vijay was last seen in AR Murugadoss' Sarkar, with Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Pala Karuppiah, Radha Ravi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Prem Kumar and others were seen in crucial supporting roles in the film that dealt with elections and politics.
Following that, Vijay is currently working on his 3rd film with Atlee, and 63rd overall, tentatively titled Thalapathy 63. The shoot is progressing at a rapid pace, and the first schedule was completed a couple of weeks ago at Binny Mills. The film has Nayanthara as the female lead, while Kathir and Yogi Babu play important roles.
Despite his busy schedule, the Mersal actor took time off work to attend the engagement of the vice-president of Vijay's Fan Club and his Personal Assistant (Rajendran)'s daughter. The event was also graced by Atlee, Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. It must be noted that Atlee is working with Vijay now, while the two ladies were a part of his previous film Sarkar.
