Lyricist Vivek, the man behind the verses of chartbusting songs like 'Oru Viral Puratchi', 'Aalaporan Tamizhan' and 'Adiyae Azhage' is now working in the upcoming Vijay-starrer Thalapathy 63 which is directed by Atlee and features songs and background score by AR Rahman.
The lyricist has recently praised the Chennai Super Kings star cricketer and retired Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, whose thunderous knock in the final match of 2019 Indian Premier League despite a knee injury had won plaudits from spectators and fans of the cricket franchise. The lyricist took to Twitter to praise the sportsman.

Vivek made his debut as lyricist in the 2014 psychological thriller Enakkul Oruvan, that had Siddharth in the lead role. Thalapathy 63 marks the third collaboration with AR Rahman after Mersal and Sarkar.
