AFTER MERSAL, TAMILISAI'S STATEMENT ON SARKAR AND VIJAY'S POLITICAL ENTRY!

In 2017, Thalapathy Vijay's Mersal opened to massive collections and favorable reviews as well. But there was one controversy that surrounded the film at the time of its release.

The dialogue against GST was widely spoken about and the president of the Tamil Nadu Bharathiya Janata Party (TN BJP) Tamilisai Soundararajan's statement against actor Vijay and Mersal was a trending matter of discussion across all media channels and social media platforms.

Now, at a recent press meet, Tamilisai was asked about Vijay's Sarkar speech and prospective political entry and this is what she had to say:

"Let them come to politics. If they are getting so much of preference and attention for titling their film as Sarkar, then think about how much preference we will get as people who are a part of the Sarkar and running the government. So, let them come and then I will answer these questions."
