NGK is Suriya's next film after Thaana Serntha Kootam with Vignesh Shivn. The film is directed by Selvaraghavan, and produced by SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu under the banner Dream Warriors Pictures, in association with Reliance Entertainment. The trailer of the film released to a great response from the audience today.
The film faced a lot of delay, and actor Suriya opened up about it at the trailer and audio launch event. He said: "The film is not just a normal political drama or a political thriller. This is Selva's take on the political events after 2000, which also includes a lot of his thoughts and opinion. Since it is that kind of a film, it also took the time it deserved. But, I enjoyed shooting, and each day was a different one."
Suriya also spoke extensively about Yuvan Shankar Raja's music. "Yuvan's music is soulful. Earlier, I used to call him at night and say show me your hands, I want to give you a kiss. That's how good it is."
NGK will be releasing on 31st May, following which, he'll be seen in Kaappaan, Soorarai Pottru, and an untitled film with Siruthai Siva. Stay tuned for more updates. Catch the full speech below:
