Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsActor Suriya was last seen in his hit film - Soorarai Pottru which had opted for an OTT release due to the Coronavirus pandemic and went on to be the most celebrated movie in the Indian film industry in 2020.
Apart from Suriya, the film features Aparna Balamurali as the female lead while Dr. M Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Karunas, Vivek Prasanna, Krishna Kumar and Kaali Venkat amongst others will be seen in important roles.
Along with the story and direction, Sudha Kongara had also written the screenplay along with Shalini Usha Devi. The movie is bankrolled by Suriya's 2D Entertainment in association with Guneet Monga.
Now, it has been officially announced that the film will be remade in Hindi and will feature Sudha Kongara (who had originally helmed Soorarai Pottru) as director in this remake as well. The film will be produced by Suriya, Jothika, Rajsekar Pandian and Abundantia Entertainment. More details are awaited!
