Raina was full of praise for Tamil Nadu Cricket Association for having groomed the youngsters here well and picked MS Dhoni’s quality of being calm as his favourite.
Regarding missing IPL 2020, he said, “It was a personal issue. My family needed me. The skipper and the team management were cooperative. I am looking to some good performances now.”
Regarding bouncing back, he said, “You need to work hard. Practise a lot. Work on your fitness since you tend to put on weight when not playing. Be mindful of your diet.”
While fielding, he said that the CSK crowd is amazing and it gives him confidence. Regarding girls following, he said, “I am happily married. There is only one girl I am following.”
He finished off the interview with full of praise for the Tamil people, “I love the Tamil food. People here are very hospitable.” He also let us in on CSK’s plans for IPL 2021 and said, “We are going to work hard. We are going to be playing tough cricket. Hopefully, we will reach the play-offs this time and give fans reasons to smile.”
