The relationship and bonding that Karuppudurai and Kutty share is unique and emotional. Soon after its release, it was put up on Netflix for better and wider reach. Now, it has been confirmed that the movie is set for a television premiere on June 11 on Vijay Television.

Sharing the news, the director of the film Madhumita wrote: "KD is coming to your home pola...Mark your calendars...7pm on June 11th." She also noted that it is a film that can be watched as a whole family. "8 lerundhu 80 varai (from the age of eight to eighty)," she said.

Apart from bagging applause from all quarters, 14-year-old Naga Vishal, the actor who played the role of 'Kutty' in the movie, recently bagged a National Award under the ‘Best Child Artist’ category.
