In an interview to Behindwoods, Suniel Shetty talks about his experience working in Darbar. The 'Hera Pheri' actor spoke about how he got the well-known moniker 'Anna', as he's fondly called by fans. He said that the name was coined to him in the sets of Sanjay Gupta's Kaante "The staff used to call me 'Anna' and then everybody, from Sanjay Dutt to Amitabh Bachchan started calling me that."
Suniel Shetty reveals that Darbar is not his first Tamil film "I did 12B for Jeeva (the film's director). But from a character and presentation's perspective, Darbar is my first Tamil film." Suniel Shetty heaps praise on AR Murugadoss and calls him a 'little dynamite' as he thinks differently and wants to do things in a different way.
The actor also opened up about his favourite South Indian films in recent times. The actor revealed that he enjoyed watching Lokesh Kanagaraj's Maanagaram and H. Vinoth's Nerkonda Paarvai, directed by H. Vinoth.
