After giving a stupendous hit with his latest film, 'Kanchana 3', Raghava Lawrence has not only impressed audiences but also critics alike. He has been doing all his four sequels of the Muni franchise successfully.
‘Kanchana 3’, the fourth part, co-starred Vedhika, Oviya and Nikki Tamboli and is reported to have grossed more than 75 crores in its Tamil and Telugu versions, and the film is on its way to becoming the biggest blockbuster of the series.
And the latest news is that Sun Pictures, which had released ‘Kanchana 3’, has been extremely impressed with his works and has signed Lawrence to direct a 3D mega budget fantasy horror flick titled ‘Kaala Bhairava’ with snakes being a key part of the screenplay.
Meanwhile, Lawrence’s ‘Kanchana’ will have a Hindi remake featuring Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh is said to essay the role of a trans-woman, that was played by Sarath Kumar in Tamil.
