BIG-BREAKING: STR'S MAANAADU GETS A DEADLY-HANDSOME HERO AS VILLAIN!

Touted to be a political genre movie, this project was highly anticipated due to the interesting combo of STR and Venkat Prabhu. However, the producer of the film had earlier announced in August that STR will no longer be a part of the project and that the film didn't materialize due to logistical issues.

But recently the producer took to his social media handle to announce that STR is back and the shooting dates of the upcoming film, Maanadu will be announced soon. Recently, we had reported that  Venkat Prabhu had started discussions for Maanadu and the shoot schedule was planned from February 1st week.

Initially, there had been a buzz about Kichcha Sudeep being roped in for the role of villain in Maanadu. But, Sudeep had tweeted that the news was fake. Now, according to sources close to us, Arvind Swami is in talks to play the villain role.

Arvind Swami made his comeback through Thani Oruvan in 2015. As a smart, dynamic and swag villain Siddharth Abhimanyu, the actor won the hearts of the masses again. He became one of the loved dashing villains of Tamil Cinema. After that, Bogan also featured the actor in a negative shade. Also, the actor features in a crucial role in the upcoming movie 'Thalaivi', directed by Vijay. The expectation of a rocking face-off between the two stylish actors - Simbu and Arvind Swami, adds more excitement to the much-awaited movie!
