“NO SIRUTHAI COP THIS TIME”

As reported earlier, Dheeran Adhigaram Ondru is the title of Karthi’s film which would be directed by H Vinothkumar of Sathuranga Vettai fame. The film is bankrolled by SR Prabhu for Dream Warrior Pictures. We spoke to Prabhu regarding the title and Karthi’s role and this is what he had to say.

“The film is about a police officer and a case that he handles. Karthi will not be playing a Siruthai kind of a cop in this film but a police officer who is working on a case. There will not be any personal rivalry or revenge angle which we generally see in cop stories. It is a kind of a game and all of us would have heard about such situation sometimes in our life.  When Naan Mahaan Alla came, a thought crossed all of us, right? Same way, when you finish seeing the film, such a thought will emerge. We will begin shooting by January first week. Selection of other cast members is underway and announcements are expected soon”.

When asked if there are chances of a sequel for this film as the title says, Adhigaram Ondru, Prabhu affirms and says, “There are possibilities”.
