SOORARAI POTTRU BECOMES SURIYA'S FIRST FILM TO ACHIEVE THIS EXOTIC FEAT IN THIS LANGUAGE!

Soorarai Pottru as mentioned earlier is the biopic of Air Deccan Founder Gopinath. Suriya's character is named Nedumaaran in the movie. The struggle Nedumaaran undergoes to finally establish a successful aviation industry is a very small gist of this intense movie.

On the technical front, GV Prakash Kumar has tuned the songs for this movie, Niketh Bommi and Sathish Suriya handle the cinematography and editing departments respectively. The movie's increasing popularity had converted into the movie's Hindi rights being sold already, and the film will be released in Tamil as Soorarai Pottru and Telugu as Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra. Also, the Kerala Theatrical Rights were acquired by Spark Pictures.

Now, Soorarai Pottru is all set to make a special mark in Suriya's career, as it becomes the first film of his to be dubbed and released in Kannada. This effort has been taken by the makers due to popular demand from fans. Also, it is interesting to note that Air Deccan owner Gopinath whose biopic will be Soorarai Pottru is also a Kannadiga, and the fans feel it is only right for the movie to be dubbed and released in Kannada.
