7G Rainbow colony was dubbed in Telugu as 7G Brindavan Colony which also had a successful run. Recently, the film got remade in Hindi and titled as 'Malaal', which stars Sharmin Segal and Meezan playing lead roles. The remake is jointly produced by 'Padmaavat' director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, under the banner Bhansali Productions, in association with T-Series Films.
