Sonia Agarwal, who won a lot of hearts for her performances in films like ‘7G Rainbow Colony, ‘Kovil’ and ‘Kadhal Konden’ is back to Kollywood after a long interval. She will be seen playing a crucial role in Arun Vijay’s ‘Thadam’, which released yesterday (March 1st).
In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Sonia shared some interesting details about the movie and her experience from working with actors like Vijay, Dhanush and Simbu. She also spoke about Selvaraghavan and his way of filmmaking.
Speaking about her co-stars Simbu and Dhanush, she said “Both of them were very helpful to me during the time of shooting. Since Dhanush was like family, I felt more comfortable working with him. Simbu too, was very friendly. He never had this thought that he was the son of a famous actor.”
Speaking about her first director Selvaraghavan, she said “I learnt acting only from Selvaraghavan. Even when I was unfamiliar with the language, Selva sir took out all the expressions from me during 7G Rainbow Colony. He used to get angry if I took many takes. He is a very strict teacher."
