Popular production House Thenandal Films is gearing up for its next venture which is touted to be “India’s first giant super hero” project, in association with Libra Productions - according to the words of Hema Rukmani, CEO of Thenandal Entertainment, Director at Thenandal Studios Limited.

The project has been titled - “Kapi” and is directed by Gokulraj Baskar. The first look poster of the film and a video which gives us a sneak peek into the film - Watch the video here:

Mersal was Sri Thenandal Films’ 100th production and starred Thalapathy Vijay in the lead. The film was directed by Atlee and also starred Nithya Menen, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha in the lead roles. SJ Suryah was seen in a pivotal role. AR Rahman had provided with the music. Vijay was seen in a triple role in the film.

Upon release, the film met with a positive reception. Ace comedian Vadivelu was also back in the movie with Vijay post his collaboration in films like Sachien, Kavalan, etc.
