DROPPED SELVARAGHAVAN - S.J.SURYAH'S FILM!

Director Lakshman, before making his debut as a director with Romeo Juliet was a distributor and producer. During an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, the Bogan director revealed that he was supposed to produce a film with S.J.Suryah - Selvaraghavan combo.
 

He said, "I had distributed S.J.Suryah sir's New in the Chengalpet region, and it gave me a good amount of profit. With that amount, I went to Suryah sir and told him that we would do a film together. He also agreed upon, and we planned to bring Selvaraghavan sir on board to direct a film for us. But then, few people told me that Selva Sir is tough to handle and it would be difficult to work with him. Hence, we dropped the film. Instead, we did a new project altogether (Kalvanin Kadhali), which was directed by Thamilvaanan. However, I am now so happy to see this striking combo for Nenjam Marappathillai and I am very excited about it."
