Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on a lot of projects, while awaiting the release of Mr. Local, that is directed by M Rajesh of Siva Manasula Sakthi, Boss Engira Baskaran, and OKOK fame. Mr. Local has Nayanthara as the female lead, and is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green.
The film is set for a release on May 17. Simultaneously, he is working on a film with Pandiraj of Pasanga, Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Kadaikutty Singam fame, produced by Sun Pictures, and tentatively titled SK16.
Sources close to us have now revealed that the team of SK16 are travelling to Karaikudi to start shooting there tomorrow (May 15). The film has Anu Emmanuel playing the female lead, and Aishwarya Rajesh playing a crucial supporting role. Actors Yogi Babu and Soori have also been roped in to play the comedians.
Apart from Mr. Local, Siva is working on an untitled film with Ravi Kumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame, a film titled Hero, directed by PS Mithran of Irumbuthirai fame, and one with Vignesh ShivN that will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Stay tuned for more updates.
