Businessman and Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police on July 19 for creating and publishing pornographic films and since then, he has been under investigation and placed under judicial custody. The latest development is that his hearing on bail plea is adjourned till Thursday. Earlier in the morning Raj Kundra and Ryan Thorpe were sent to 14 days judicial custody.

When a team of the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police raided the Juhu residence of Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra, she is said to have burst into tears while having an argument with her husband regarding the case and informed him that due to his actions, their “endorsements” are being “cancelled” in the industry and the family is facing a “huge financial” loss. It is said that she also questioned him about the reason behind his alleged involvement when they "have everything".

The Police also had to step in and calm her down after which she confessed that she did not know about his actions.

Raj Kundra has been booked under Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
