'SECRET AGENT' SANTHANAM??! MARANA MASS TITLE & FIRST LOOK OF ACTOR'S NEXT UNVEILED BY LOKESH KANAGARAJ - FANS CAN'T KEEP CALM!

'Chhichhore' fame Naveen Polishetty played a rookie detective in 'Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya', which was well-received by audiences and critics alike for its quirky presentation. Santhanam has been roped in to reprise Naveen’s character. The movie mostly starred newcomers and did exceptionally well at the box-office. It was set in the small town of Nellore.

Now, the title and the first look of the film has been officially unveiled by Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is directing 'Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. The movie, which was tentatively titled 'Production No 2', has now been given the name 'Agent Kannayiram' featuring the comedian-cum-actor in a swanky agent-like get-up holding a baton in hand.

Along with Santhanam, Urvasi, Pugazh, Muniskanth, and many others are playing important roles in the remake. The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the release date of the film is yet to be announced. Santhanam, who was last seen in 'Dikkiloona' written and directed by Karthik Yogi, has 'Sabapathy' and the unreleased 'Server Sundaram' in his kitty.
