Sathyaraj’s daughter Divya Sathyaraj is a famous nutrition who had earlier written a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the malpractices pursued in the field of medicine. She has also often expressed her concern about health and nutrition of people in Tamilnadu and also expressed interest in politics.
Ever since her photograph with M.K.Stalin went viral, there have been media speculations about Divya joining DMK party in Politics. She has now released a press note where she has talked about the reason behind her meeting.
She has stated,”Our families have always been friends ever since my father in Kalaignar sir’s direction. It was an informal meeting. I spoke to him about my career as a nutritionist and the projects am planning.”
She added,”I am interested in politics but I would like to emphasize on the fact that politics was not discussed in this meeting.” Thus Divya made her stance on politics clear with her statement.
