Karthi was last seen in 'Sulthan', post which he will be next seen in Ponniyin  Selvan, Viruman, Sardar. These are expected to be subsequently released later this year. Filming for Ponniyin Selvan and Viruman has already been completed. Its post-production work is currently in full swing.

Sardar Shooting

Currently, actor Karthi is engaged with Sardar. Filming for Sardar started in Chennai a few months back. After that, the shooting was postponed due to corona outbreak. Following this, filming of Sardar resumed at Gokulam Studios in Chennai. Karthik is paired with Raashii Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan. After a gap of several years, Laila is said to be back in Tamil cinema in this film. Dilip Subramanian is working as the martial arts director to do the Ruben editing for Sardar. George Williams handles the cinematography. GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film Sardar. Also, the film is produced by Prince Pictures.

Sardar Update.

According to sources, the second look poster of the film is planned to be released on Karthi's birthday - May 25. The first look got great attention as Karthi looked old in it that has already been released. And now, this news has made Karthi fans even more excited.

The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Grounds in Chennai from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
