Actor Santhanam was last seen on screen in ‘Dhilluku Dhuddu 2’ that also featured Shritha Sivadas in lead role, while Rajendran and Urvashi play supportive roles. Written and directed by Rambhala, this sequel had managed to impress audiences and critics alike.
Post which, the actor had bagged some projects - one directed by Kannan, ‘A1’ which is directed by debutant Johnson and Dagaalty, directed by Vijay Anand, a former assistant of director Shankar to name a few.
The actor had taken to his social media and had announced that the first look of his upcoming film, Dagaalty would be arriving today. And as promised, BOOM here it is! Sharing the look from the film, he wrote, “Here goes the first look of #Dagaalty directed by @vijayanans co-starring @SenRittika @iyogibabu” Woah! Isn’t he looking macho?

Jointly produced by SP Chowdhary's 18 reels and Santhanam's Handmade films, the film also features Rittika Sen and Yogi Babu. The film’s music is scored by Vijay Narain.While Deepak Kumar Padhy is the cinematographer, T.S. Suresh handles the cuts of the film, dance choreography by Shobhi and Silva manages the stunts.
