The film was bankrolled by Suresh Productions, People's Media Factory, Guru Films, and Kross Pictures. The film performed extremely well at the box office, and recieved positive reviews all over. In addition to this, Samantha's husband Naga Chaitanya was also seen playing a cameo.

The latest update about this film is that the Tamil dubbed version is all set to release in Tamil Nadu. While the original Telugu version released on July 5, the dubbed Tamil film will be hitting the screens this Independence Day, August 15, 2019.

Oh Baby had music by Mickey J Meyer, Cinematography by Richard Prasad and editing by Junaid Siddique. It is the official Telugu remake of Miss Granny, a critically acclaimed South Korean film. Samantha is currently acting in the Telugu remake on '96', that is being helmed by Premkumar himself. She'll be essaying the role of Jaanu that was played by Trisha in the original.
