Super Deluxe is an upcoming film directed Thiagarajan Kumararaja that has an ensemble cast comprising of Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni, Ramya Krishnan, Mysskin, Gayathrie, Bagavathi Perumal etc., This film marks Thiagarajan Kumararaja's return to cinema after he made his debut through the cult film Aaranya Kaandam, 8 years ago.
One of the leads, Samantha Akkineni, was involved in a candid conversation with Behindwoods, and she revealed a lot of interesting details about this film. While it is known from earlier interviews that Vijay Sethupathi, Mysskin had to undergo 80+ takes for a shot, and Ramya Krishnan took a maximum of 35+ takes, Samantha said she is the one who took the least number of takes.
"I consider myself as the most luckiest one relatively. While they had so many retakes, I had to do only a maximum of 5. That could also be because of the fact that their shots involved a lot of technicalities," quipped Samantha.
The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while Nirav Shah and P.S Vinod are the cinematographers. Gopi Prasanna has designed the poster and the screenplay is written by Neelan K Shekhar, Mysskin and Nalan Kumarasamy. Catch the interview below:
