The film released amidst huge expectations from the audience, and it was praised for the technical finesse and the brilliance in the making of the film with confined performances.

The makers have now released the full video of the song, 'Salaam Rocky Bhai', composed by Ravi Basrur with lyrics by Kabilan. Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF's Tamil version was released by Vishal's Vishal Film Factory throughout Tamil Nadu.
