WOAH! KAMAL HAASAN, NOW AN IMPORTANT PLAYER IN RANVEER SINGH'S 83!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsAmazingly talented actor, Ranveer Singh will be next seen essaying the role of the legendary cricketer, Kapil Dev who had led India into victory during the 1983 World Cup. The actor had left no stones unturned to get into the skin of the character.
Until now, 13 posters featuring each members of the Indian Cricket team were introduced and the latest being the left-handed medium pacer, R Badree as Sunil Valson. Directed by 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' fame Kabir Khan, the film features Nishant Dahiya, Dinker Sharma, Chirag Patil, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, and Sahil Khattar to name a few.
Deepika Padukone will be seen playing the role of Ranveer's on-screen wife in the film and thereby this film would mark the couple's first film together after marriage. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala in association with Madhu Mantena, Vishnu Induri, Deepika Padukone and Reliance Entertainment, the film is set to release on April 10.
The latest official announcement is that Kamal Haasan will also be playing an important role in this upcoming film. Yes, you read it right - Ulaganayagan will be presenting ’83 in Tamil whereas Nagarjuna Akkineni will be presenting it in Telugu. It must be noted that distributors indeed play an important role during a film release!
