Behindwoods has been successfully awarding the Behindwoods Gold Medals for the past seven years to a number of artists in the film industry. Top actors and actresses of Tamil and Indian cinema have graced our festival stage. Behindwoods proudly launched a new awards ceremony this year, Behindwoods Gold Icons that honoured icons in the television, digital and social media verticals, one that took place on March 7.

Pugazh took home the ‘Best Entertainer on Television’ award, presented to him by Rithika, Pavithra Lakshmi and Dharsha Gupta and Dr AS Riyaz, Chairman, ARSK Group, Polymarble Sheet, Madurai.

As far as Cook with Comali is concerned, these are the finalists of the second season- Kani, Ashwin, Baba Bhaskar, Shakila and Pavithra Lakshmi.
