After delivering a hit film with Nayanthara's Maya, director Ashwin is back with Iravaakaalam. This film produced by Thenandal Studios Limited, stars SJ Suryah, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Sshivada.
The producer Hema Rukmani recently saw a portion of the film and took to Twitter to shower praise. She said, "Had a #SneakPeek of #iravaakaalam ! A beautiful narrative, visual treat & a classy film. Director Ashwin Saravanan garnered everyone's attention through his debut film Maya, which was widely appreciated by critics and the audience. Now, the talented director has completed filming his second film, Iravaakaalam, starring S.J.Suryah, Sshivada, and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles.
Sharing this news on Twitter, Ashwin posted, "#Iravaakaalam shoot is officially wrapped. It took us more than 2 years to get to this day. If not for the beautiful people involved, the film would have remained a slightly worn, tear-stained 136-page-script."
Iravaakaalam is the next production venture from Thenandal Studios Limited, that recently bankrolled Vijay's blockbuster, Mersal.
