Priyanka Chopra got married to Nick Jonas in December 2018 at a lavish wedding ceremony in Jaipur. Her brother got engaged three months back but now it has been reported that their wedding has been called off.
Her brother, Siddharth Chopra got engaged to Delhi based Ishita Kumar in a roka ceremony on February 27. Immediately after the engagement, Ishita Kumar was hospitalised and had undergone a surgery.
Reportedly, after the surgery, the couple has mutually decided to cancel the wedding. As soon as this news started getting circulated in the media, Priyanka and Siddharth’s mother Madhu Chopra has recently confirmed the news to a north media, She said ”They have mutually called it off.” Later Ishita also took to her Instagram to post a picture with a caption: "Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings."
Ishita’s mother and father have also shown their love and support for her in the comments section. Though the reason behind the cancellation is not known, Ishita also taken down all her engagement photos from her Instagram page.
