Of late, the actress who has won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her power-packed performance in 2006’s Paruthiveeran, has been hitting the headlines. The actress had married Mustafa Raj in a private ceremony on 23 August, 2017.

And now, reports of her marriage being claimed as invalid by Mustafa's first wife Ayesha, who has alleged that they haven't filed for divorce are going viral. She added that Mustafa declared in the court that he was a bachelor while tying the knot with Priyamani.

Reacting to this after the allegations against Mustafa were made, Priyamani revealed that they are definitely "very secure" in their relationship. Her husband is in the United States due to his work commitments and the couple makes sure to talk to each other every day. She continued that if Raj is busy with work, he "probably calls her or texts her once he is free, or vice versa if she is busy with filming".
