Priya Varrier had recently deactivated her microblogging site account on Instagram, and this had caused quite a stir as the actress was a socially active person. Her sudden decision came without any announcement, and fans were surprised to see their beloved actress missing from the online space.

Priya mentioned that during this lockdown, the likes, dislikes, follows, unfollows, all those had gone to her head, and she took a short sabbatical from the online media space. But the speculations, hate comments, and trolls that arose due to this has deeply pained her.

She said she welcomed healthy trolls, and she was not new to them. But a particular comment that she was deactivating her account for publicity had scarred her.
