JUST IN: RELEASE DATE OF PRABHU DEVA'S NEXT ANNOUNCED

As we all know, Prabhu Deva and director Vijay have teamed up together for the second time for Lakshmi, post the success of their first outing, Devi. The makers of Lakshmi have now announced the release date of the film. 

This Vijay directorial will be hitting the screens on August 24, and the Tamil Film Producers Council's Release Regulation Committe has approved the film to release on the said date. The film has been certified with a clean 'U'. The film is based on the relationship between a dance teacher and his student and how they both win against the odds in the field of dance. 

The film marks the debut of child actor, Ditya, who is said to be an amazing dancer in real life too. Apart from Prabhu Deva and Ditya, there is also Aishwarya Rajesh in the film's casting, who has played an important role. Lakshmi has music by Vikram Vedha fame Sam CS.
