However, actor Santhanam's ‘Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya’ gave the actor a great breakthrough in receiving further offers for comic roles. Powerstar was last seen on screen in Jai and Athulya Ravi’s Capmaari.
Now, looks like the actor is back with a new exciting movie which again has a very familiar style! Yes, the film has been titled as Murungakkai which seems to have been inspired by Bhagyaraj’s cult classic, Munthanai Mudichu.
Directed by RS Mani, the film also features actor Marimuthu and Tamilselvi in prominent roles. Bankrolled by SLS Films, the film’s music will be composed by Premkumar Sivaperuman. The naughty first look features Powerstar happily thinking about something which is set against a first night backdrop. Check it out here -
