The recent social media trends have been completely hijacked by a character played by Vadivelu. Yes, the iconic role Nesamani from the 2001 film Friends, which starred Vijay, Suriya and Ramesh Khanna in the lead roles.
The film had recieved so much traction off late due to the evergreen comedy scene in which the character gets hit by a hammer that had accidentally slipped away from the hands of Krishnamurthy, his nephew. The scene had sparked the trending hashtag 'Pray for Nesamani' based on the scene has triggered various memes and jokes revolving around it.
The recent star to join this bandwagon is popular comedian Sathish, who has served justice to the reel life character. He had posted a video on his official Twitter account in which the funnyman enacted the same scene with Ramesh Khanna (the actor who played the role of Krishnamurthy). But around this time, its Krishnamurthy who gets hurt.
