MANI RATNAM'S PONNIYIN SELVAN: THIS GORGEOUS ACTRESS JOINS THE CAST!

Now, Popular Actress Sobhita Dhulipala has shared that she has joined the cast of this grand project. This project will mark the debut of this actress in Tamil, whereas she has done projects like Moothon and is also a part of Dulquer Salmaan's Kurup. Sobhita entered film industry through Anurag Kashyap's Raman Raghav 2.0. She has also starred in a few Telugu movies. She took up a part in Ghost Stories series on Netflix under Anurag Kashyap's direction, and her current projects are Dulquer Salman's Kurup - Malayalam, and Akshay Kumar's Laxxmi Bomb - Hindi (- directed by Raghava Lawrence). 

Ponniyin Selvan is being jointly bankrolled by Allirajah Subaskaran and Mani Ratnam, under their Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies banners. Ravi Varman cranks the camera for the movie and Sreekar Prasad is taking care of the editing of this movie, whose music is composed by AR Rahman.
