“DIDN’T EVEN TREAT ME LIKE A DOG.. HAD SUICIDAL THOUGHTS..” - PONNAMBALAM’S HEARTBREAKING EMOTIONAL STATEMENT AFTER DISCHARGE!

In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Ponnambalam has opened up about his problems and how he is coping up with all the tension. Opening up about his issues, he said “Everyone thinks Ponnambalam is a Big shot. They think I have crores and crores of assets. Nobody knows the actual suffering, I am going through.”

“I don’t own a house and I’m still paying rent. I don’t care, living in a rented house. But it hurts me that I was not able to save enough for my children. Although they don’t expect anything from me, it still hurts.”

“All people and co stars know about how hard I’ve worked in the industry. If they help me financially during this tough situation, I would be really grateful. I had an issue with my Kidney, and I took it carelessly, during the early days. Later, when it got critical, I had to spend every penny of my earnings. I did it and now, that led to my bank balance becoming zero.”

Ponnambalam also said that “I was very shy of asking anyone for financial assistance. After a lot of thinking, I spoke with Sarathkumar sir. He helped me without any second thought. I want to thank him at this juncture.”

“The stunt union did not even turn their head towards me. Had they at least considered me as a dog, they would have helped me. I considered the Stunt Union as my home. I am really hurt that nobody from the Union called me or reached out to me. I felt like committing suicide for over 20 times during these tough times.”

Ponnambalam also thanked Rajini, Kamal and L.Murugan for their timely help during this tough phase. He also requested Ajith, Vijay, Raghava Lawrence and other co-stars to help him. He also urged all the viewers to take care of their health.
