This Pongal witnessed two big releases Petta and Viswasam on January 10. Petta stars Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi, Sasikumar, SImran, Trisha, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others. Viswasam stars Ajith Kumar, Nayanthara, Jagapati Babu, Robo Shankar and others.
Both the movies were celebrated with big openings by fans and they have been received well. Recently Rakesh Gowthaman, the owner of Vettri Theatres, took to twitter to share a news about the collections of Petta, Viswasam. He said that these two movies have taken the biggest head to head biggie clash record of Jilla and Veeram.
Veeram and Jilla released together on January 10, 2014. It was the big clash. Veeram also starred Ajith Kumar directed by Siva, the duo that delivered Viswasam as well. Jilla was directed by R.T.Neason starring Vijay.
Petta and Viswasam are running in theatres well. So this tweet has spiked attention as both the stars have a huge fan base.
