In a recent post that was published in the director's official Facebook page, he had expressed his admiration for director R. Parthiban's upcoming directorial, Oththa Seruppu, which he wrote, directed, produced and starred in. 

The director noted that making a film with just a single actor is a challenge which was executed by many master filmmakers. He had also praised the way Parthiban handled every department of the film, starting from the cinematography, sound design, music and so on.

Oththa Seruppu is unique for its use of a single character, and has received appreciation from many quarters of the industry, ranging from Superstar Rajinikanth to acclaimed Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. Bankrolled by Parthiban under the banner Bioscope Film Framers, the film is slated to release on 20th September.
