Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsOne of the popular heart-throbs of Indian cinema, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen on screen in World Famous Lover that had featured actresses Aishwarya Rajesh, Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, and Izabelle Leite paired opposite him.
Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen in director Puri Jagannadh's upcoming venture. Titled Liger, the film will be helmed and produced by the hit filmmaker under the banner Puri Connects and Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies. The Hindi version of the upcoming film will be backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
Apart from Vijay Deverakonda, the film features Ananya Pandey as the female lead and also has Ramya Krishnan, Charmme Kaur and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles. It must be noted that Vijay learnt mixed martial arts and other fight forms in Thailand for this role in this upcoming film.
In this latest announcement, it has been revealed that Liger will hit the screens on 9th September 2021, in 5 languages - Hindi,Telugu,Tamil,Kannada & Malayalam. Also, a stylish poster of the movie with this announcement has been revealed - Check it out below:
