"OVERA PESAREENGA...": FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN NIROOP AND PRIYANKA IS IN DANGER? HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED IN BB5 HOUSE!

At the start of the week, Bigg Boss announced that this week, 'Bhoomi' coin (Earth) will have the power and gave instructions for Niroop and the housemates to follow. Accordingly, he was given the power to rule over the bedroom area. He could allow the contestants only after they've gotten permission from him and the housemates are barred from using the area during the day time. He was instructed to choose an assisstant among the female contestants and Niroop chose Akshara.

While Akshara immediately denied, Bigg Boss clarified that she has to follow his instructions for this week. Akshara later consulted other housemates who asked her to play along the game. They also said that she is equally in power to take decisions. Later, Akshara and Niroop sorted out their differences.  When Imman Annachi accused Priyanka of framing the rules in the house according to Niroop's wish, Priyanka denied and said that she too abides by all the rules and never bends it. The housemates later told Imman that he entered the bedroom without Niroop's permission as he thought that he had a good bond with him.

This time, the captaincy task was held between Ciby and Raju Jeyamohan who were selected last week as the best entertainers. They had a football match in a muddy field. Ciby won the task and was chosen as the head of the house, but Varun decided to use his power and nominated himself as the captain instead of him. The nomination process was also changed this time as it was swapped with diwali crackers and contestants were asked to nominate two contestants whom they'd like to save.

At the end of the nomination process, Ciby, Isaivani, Mathumitha, Iykki, Suruthi, Niroop, Akshara, Abhinay and Pavni were chosen for elimination this week. At the end of the day, Niroop and Akshara were asked to nominate five members who would sleep outside the bedroom and two members to serve Niroop coffee and breakfast once he gets up. While he was talking, Priyanka asked him to address the whole house and not her. After delivering the instructions Priyanka was teasing Akshara when Niroop asked her to not talk too much. Stating that what Niroop did was wrong, she asked him to remind himself of the history behind the coin he acquired. To this Niroop replied asking her to forget the history because he has it in his hands now.
