Known for his stylized filmmaking, director Mysskin has returned to the director's chair with the upcoming thriller Psycho. Starring Udhayanidhi Stalin as the lead, the film also features Nithya Menen, director Ram, Singampuli, Aditi Rao Hyadri and others in important roles.
Psycho is produced by Arun Mozhi Manickam under the banner Double Meaning Productions. It is officially announced that the film is set to hit the screens on December 27, four days prior to New Year's Eve.
Psycho is cinematographed by Tanveer Mir, former assistant of PC Sreeram while Maesto Ilayaraja handles the composing duties. The film's teaser promises a lot of chills and intrigue.

On the work front, Mysskin is currently resuming the shoot of his detective mystery sequel Thupparivalan 2, which is produced by actor Vishal, who is also essaying the lead role. The film is set in London and stars Ashya as female lead while Prasanna, Nasser, Gowthami and others play crucial roles.
