We had earlier reported that cult filmmaker Vetrimaaran will be teaming up with Dhanush for the 5th time after blockbuster movies ‘Polladhavan’, ‘Aadukalam’, ‘Vada Chennai’ and ‘Asuran’. Here’s an official confirmation on the same.

Yesterday marked Vetrimaaran’s birthday and wishes poured in for the ‘Asuran’ director across Social media. Producer Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment also shared his wishes for Vetrimaaran through his Twitter handle.

Official details on Vetrimaaran’s next big project with Dhanush

In the comments section of the Tweet, a user had asked if Vetrimaaran will be teaming up with Dhanush for RS Infotainment’s next project. Surprisingly, Elred Kumar confirmed the news for the first time, saying “yes bro.” Albeit small, this confirmation from the producer has got all the fans of Dhanush and Vetrimaaran excited.

Sources close to us had earlier revealed that this movie will be a fresh script penned by Vetrimaaran and will not be a sequel of the 2018 superhit movie ‘Vadachennai’. Watch this space for more updates on this exciting project.
