Irai Thedal is a film produced by K Sree Varma, K T Rajeev and Saj Bhaskar P under the banner of Kanda films. Irai Thedal is the first Tamil film directed by KS Karthik. The film is a fully packed investigation thriller movie starring newcomers Krishnajith S Vijay and Sujith. Irai Thedal is an upcoming movie that is sparkling of everything new.

Majority of the project's technicians are trained from Chennai's SRM Institute of Film Technology, every important member of the cast and crew is an alumnus of the institute, trained and talented. Apart from them, Sanuja Somnath, the heroine of the movie 'Unkale Podanum Sir' starring Jitan Ramesh will be the heroine in the movie Irai Thedal.

Also, Kalai Kumaran, Pramod, Karthik, K T Rajeev, Amrith Rajeev, Prasad Kuttappi, Sabu Bagawathi and Supriya are starring in the movie. Director K.S Karthik, a professional Malayalam filmmaker who has done 3 malayalam films, and acting coach with an experience of 5 years, says: "'Irai Thedal' is my first movie in tamil as a director. It was a great work experience, a good team work and I was amazed by the performance of Sujith, Kalaikumaran and Pramod Kumar alumni of SRM school of film technology."

Actor Krishnajith says : "I had a good experience working with experienced artists and previous students of SRM School of Film Technology, Chennai, especially Sujith and Kalai." Script writer K. Sree Varma says: "According to Irai Thedal movie, the writing aspect was a thrilling experience and challenging one. It is a psycho-thriller movie, the crew - director K.S Karthik and Camera man Ajai P Paul and others have done a excellent job. Also the SRM School of Film Technology alumni - the actors have given an excellent performance in through out in Irai Thedal movie, especially Sujith, Kalaikumaran, Pramod, Karthik, Tamil Selvan, Supriya and others."

The movie is written by K Sree Varma and dialogue by Kalaikumaran, the cinematography is done by Ajay P Paul, who has done many commercial ads and films. Editing by Hussain. Music done by Jishnu Sunil and lyrics by Amal Simon. Sreejith Sridhar is the art director, Anoop Sabu is the make - up artist and Aditya Nanu is the costume designer. Associate Director is Sarath Shri. Mahesh is the production controller and Shibin Syed is the line producer. Final Mixing is done by Sony James. Production Designer is Amal Vijay.
